National Council On Child Abuse and Family Violence

International Network on Family Violence (INFV)

INFV is a worldwide voluntary network of individuals and organizations committed to the prevention and elimination of family violence - child abuse, spouse/partner abuse and elder abuse. INFV was organized during the World Conference on Family Violence (WCFV) in Singapore in September 1998 with NCCAFV serving as INFV’s Secretariat. For INFV membership information, contact: INFV@aol.com

More than four hundred delegates from forty countries convened in Singapore. Results of the first World Conference included The Singapore Declaration on Family Violence. This consensus document from the delegates has been disseminated worldwide.

A major outcome of the first WCFV was the creation of the International Network on Family Violence (INFV). More than 200 individual professionals and organizations participate in INFV and in organizing future World Congresses on Family Violence.
